“You Don’t Understand God”
By TNAM Founder,

I was once both a bartender, and a promoter at a club in Long Beach, CA.
I could just feel that the clientele was becoming rough and sketchy, so I bounced,…… just a few short weeks before a shooting.
It is unlikely that the fallen in Orlando, FL had a similar warning.
I went to go see Collective Soul a few months ago because my buddy Johnny has been drumming with them for a few years. The show was at the historic Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, and it was held on the same night of the Bataclan attacks in Paris while Eagles Of Death Metal performed.
My friends & I had to point out the emergency exits we would use, and set multiple cascading checkpoints in case we got separated in a chaotic event and had to meet back up.
(Note: You and your loved ones should do the same when at public events.)
This world is a disgusting place sometimes.
I would say the world has changed, but it has always been this way. Read the bible,…it is full of brother killing brother, slavery, kingdoms, warfare, treachery, deceit, and political espionage.
Nothing has changed.
So,…in a sometimes horrible world, how should we navigate this?
Well, as a bartender or promoter, I would want to be armed to defend my life.
I would want certain security staff armed. I would want the managers armed…..just in case.
Folks,…these sniveling cowards are aiming at soft targets like schools, and concerts because they know the victims are sitting ducks.
Low hanging fruit.
Apples in a barrel.
However you want to describe it,…..disarmed people are easy to kill.
There is zero amount of legislation that can regulate evil except by meeting it with equal force.
It ALWAYS takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun.
(Yes,…I know this guy worked security, but he was not a good guy. He was a lone wolf in sheep’s clothing.)
I wish every school shooting was ended by a trained heroic sheepdog of a teacher who snuffed out a threat to his flock.
I wish this Orlando idiot would have only been able to get a couple of shots off before a bartender blew his brains out.
…I mainly wish that I didn’t have to wake up to this story today. I wish there was a leprechaun with a pot of gold for me at the end of the rainbow too, but sadly,…that is a fairy tale.
The reality is, that bad people do bad things.
Do not use the killer’s name.
Do not read it, write it, learn it, or say it.
The devil needs no more free advertisement.
If you think your God wants you to kill….then you don’t understand God.
Prayers for comfort, peace and security.
